What is Wholesome Helpers?
A members' community for UAE families. We screen domestic helpers who are looking for work and show families exactly how each one was checked, so you can contact the right people with confidence.
Are you a maid agency?
No. We are a screening and information service. We do not recruit, sponsor, place or employ helpers, and we never charge families for a helper. Members pay for access to screening results and profiles.
How are helpers checked?
Depending on the badge: in-person screening and a practical assessment (Screened & Assessed), confirmation from previous UAE employers (Reference Checked), completed training (Workshop Completed), or a recommendation from a family who employed them (Employer Referral).
What can I see without a membership?
First names, photos, video introductions and the basics. Members see full profiles, reference details and phone numbers.
How much is membership?
One monthly price, shown on the home page. There is no contract and you can cancel any time from your account.
Who arranges the visa and contract?
You do, through MOHRE or a licensed Tadbeer centre. Wholesome Helpers does not handle visas or contracts.
Can I do a trial before hiring?
Many families agree a short trial directly with the helper. Make sure the helper's visa allows it, and let us know through My Helpers so we can keep availability up to date.
I'm a helper. How do I join?
Fill in our free screening form at /apply. It costs nothing, and families can find your profile once it is live.
I had a wonderful helper. Can I recommend her?
Yes, for free. Use the Recommend page and our team will confirm your reference so the next family can read it.
